I like to keep them simple. Here's my recipe for my breakfast smoothie. I drink this around 8:00am and I'm usually good till about 11:30.
1/2 cup frozen fruit any kind (I like berry blends but really anything will do) 1/2 frozen banana (peel your overripe bananas, cut them in half and freeze them. Slice them just before they go in the blender. Frozen banana is the key to a creamy smoothie) 1/2 cup ff milk, soy milk, almond milk 1/2 cup water 1/2 portion whey isolate protein powder - I like vanilla (you can leave this out but it's smart to leave it in) 1 tsp flax oil
Blend it well and enjoy.
Variation: use pineapple for the frozen fruit and add a little coconut flavouring and you've got yourself a breakfast pina colada. No rum though! :)
Have a Green Monster. SOO DELICIOUS! I have one banana, 5-6 strawberries, some vanilla soymilk or 1% milk, 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder and 2-3 handfuls of spinach. You don't taste the spinach and it's a salad for a meal. SOO GOOD!

I hate smoothies, so unfortunately I can't be of help :P
I actually don't hate smoothies, I have a texture issue, I like the way they taste but for whatever reason just can't drink them :(
Here's a common one for me:
Today's Green Monster
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup almond breeze
vanilla
1 T ground flax
1 T oat bran
50 g tofu
1/4 cup ff plain yogurt
1 kiwi
3 strawberries
70 g kale
Mind you, spinach works WAY better than kale. It's not bitter. You can mix and match your ingredients. The good news is, there are no rules. :)
