Do you eat nuts? I love almonds but I have a really hard time justifying the points value of them. I realize they have healthy fats and protein but is it worth it to eat them? Where do they fit into the delicate balance of losing weight?
Fun Fact: Nuts are one of the best sources of belly-fat burning MonoUnsaturated Fatty Acids(aka MUFA's)... with Macadamia nuts ranking highest on the charts... 2tbsp of nuts a day is said to help target the fat around your middle...
(I sound like a total food nerd, but really i just bought a little book thing on MUFA's and how they can help burn tummy fat. Also on the list was Avocado's, Olives, Oils, and Dark or Semisweet Chocolate. I was all excited... I'm a TOTAL Olive-a-holic! However, it's hard for me to stop at the 1 oz serving... so I just chuck em in my salads!
i love love love nuts. i can easily eat a pound in one sitting if i'm not careful! almonds are my faves too. i just take a small handful and walk away...just walk away.
