The frustration lives on.

Weight watchers is pissing me off again. I am not losing and it is just killing me to go and pay to weigh in. I am using the accurate number of points, drinking water, counting everything, and going to the gym. I am also up four pounds. I have been at ww for about 20 weeks now. I have fallen off the wagon a couple of times, nothing major but I have a total loss of 9lbs. For some reason I find that when I am off program I tend to lose a lb or 2 even though I am eating everything in sight. Maybe it is because I'm not thinking about food all the time. Maybe it is time to try something new? I think I am just worn out from counting points, in foods, left for the day, the week. What should I do? I guess the plan for now is to give ww two last weeks and if nothing changes then I'm done with points.

I understand your frustration! I was having the same problem, I had lost 24 pounds then just stopped losing, even though I was doing everything "by the book" according to WW. So, I decided to adjust my points a little bit for a few days and started losing again. I dropped my points back by 2 for 2 days then went over points by 1 or 2 then back to regular points. Check out this site for more details: http://www.stormpc.com/ww/wendie_plan.htm
Hope this helps, best of luck!

Hmmm... You know, I've been in that boat myself... If you are super on plan, but still not losing, I would look at a couple of things:

1. Are you getting in all of your good health guidelines? I tend to have a huge problem using a LOT of my points on junk instead of healthy things
2. Check and double check your portion sizes... Especially things you eat often that you might eye ball (like cereal)... Spend a week measuring and weighing all of your food, just to make sure you're not eating more points than you think you are.
3. Change up your exercise routine.

I dunno- I just feel for you, since I've been stuck myself a few times. Ultimately though, I've lost 43 pounds and I've just had to remind myself that a slow loss is probably best for me anyway!

I understand why you are frustrated. Try to stick with it. If you have lost weight in the past, it might take longer this time around. Stick to one program (religously) for at least 6weeks. And it is totally normal to gain weight when working out. Especially at first. It should start dropping sometime in the 3rd month of intense training. I saw your post about adding weight/fitness related blogs. I'd like to be added. toughgirltrainin.blogspot.com
BTW, I am Kara's sis-in-law, fellow "dieter" (hate that word) and personal trainer.
